2024 Gratitude list

2024 Gratitude list

hey and welcome back to 'diaryofanoverthinker' today I will be doing a gratitude list because I have a lot to be grateful for this year. I also did one at the end of my school year review but that was only school related things and I really wanted to do one for my life in general. So sit back, relax and enjoy!

Deen/Imaan

Obviously I need to start with the most important thing of all. I am incredibly grateful to be a muslim and to have the opportunities and freedom to practice my religion openly. I am beyond grateful as not everyone has these privileges and it is the most important thing in my life.

Travel

I've had so many incredible opportunities to travel this year, and I’m beyond grateful for the chance to visit new places and immerse myself in different cultures. It's been amazing to try so many new things along the way, and I'm truly thankful for each experience.

Friends and family

I’m so grateful for my friends and family. They’ve always been there for me, supporting me through everything and making me laugh when I need it most. My friends make life so much fun and make school a better place, and my family is like a constant source of love and laughter. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without them, even if I've lost a few friends on the way I'm ever grateful for the ones I have and the once I've gained. I’m thankful every day for having such amazing people in my life.

Books

I'm so grateful for all the books I've read this year, and for the chance to live in so many different worlds and places through them. The characters I've gotten to know and become attached to have made each story unforgettable. Reading has been such a meaningful hobby for me, not only allowed me to experience so much, but also helped me escape when I needed it most, giving me a sense of peace and comfort during tough times.Honestly I'm beyond grateful for all the books I've read this year and my overall love for reading

School/education

While I’ve already shared a gratitude list in my school review blog, I still want to take a moment to say how grateful I am for my school. Sure, I complain about it and sometimes dread waking up to go there, but deep down, I know it’s one of the best schools, flaws and all. Most of the time, I really do love it. I’m also just incredibly thankful for the opportunity to receive an education, which is something not everyone has, and that makes me appreciate school even more.

Health

Health is something that I have come to be incredibly grateful for. I mean sure whenever you get sick suddenly you realise how lucky you are normally but this year I have really come to see how amazing it is to be healthy. Watching so many people become really sick and loose their health has honestly made me incredibly grateful for mine even if its occasionally ruined by the flu.

All the new experiences

I’ve had so many fun and unforgettable experiences this year some at school, some with friends, and others with family. Each one has been special in its own way, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the memories I’ve made. These experiences have truly made this year amazing, and I’ll carry them with me forever.

Well that's about all, I mean there's probably way more to say such as gifts and life in general but those are the main ones that I wanted to focus on in todays blog. I hope you enjoyed todays blog and as always feel free to contact me at adiaryofanoverthinker@gmail.com

until next time
