Hey everyone, and welcome to diaryofanoverthinker. First off, I just want to apologize for not posting these past few weeks. It’s been a bit of a whirlwind with exams, and after all that stress, I really needed some time to just chill and recharge. Honestly, I got a bit lazy with writing too, but I'm back now! So today, I’m keeping it low-key with a relaxed post all about the Boys of Tommen just some casual yapping, so sit back, relax and enjoy!

New Releases

Okay, so I have to start with the fact that we’re getting not one, but TWO Boys of Tommen books in 2026. I’m honestly a little confused about which books are coming out, because as we all know, Chloe’s way of communicating lately has been… complicated, and based on my FYP, I’m even more confused.

I’ve heard that we might be getting two more LizHugh books, which I won’t lie is absolutely a need, because Liz’s story needs and deserves three books. But I’ve also heard that one of the 2026 releases might be a LizHugh book and the other a Gibs book  and let’s be real, Gibs deserves a book in 2026.

Taming 7 was severely lacking compared to the other books, and we honestly need more from Gibsie. His story had so much that felt rushed, and his book could have (and should have) been way longer.

Either way, I need those two releases no matter what they are. I NEED Gibs and Liz to find out everything, make up, and then fight Mark together. But I really feel like we can only get that through a Gibs book, because that would be set in almost full present time (right after the Taming 7 timeline).

With a LizHugh book, we’d still have to cover parts of:

• Binding 13
• Keeping 13
• Saving 6
• Releasing 6
• Taming 7

-in LizHugh POVS even if those periods are short, kind of like how Saving 6 and Redeeming 6 overlapped. That’s exactly why LizHugh needs three books, because there’s a lot of timeline left to fill.

This also makes me think we might get the two LizHugh books first, and then the Gibs book, since Chloe mentioned after Taming 7 that the books would be released in order of the timeline/storyline, not in sets based on the main couple like how the first four books were centered on the Lynch family.

But that also leaves me wondering… when are we getting a Feely book? Because I’ve been waiting on that for a while now.Not to mention I've seen snippets of a possible John and Edel book which is a NEEED.

Just to be clear: everything I’m saying here is purely theory/speculation based on things I’ve seen on my FYP. Nothing is confirmed, and I’m not 100% sure about any of this because the situation is honestly really complicated right now.

Fancast

Okay, I know this is actually kind of old, but I LOVE how the whole fancast is finding out about it. Reading the books and then watching people discover them is just so fun  it’s honestly one of those prime fandom moments.

I’m genuinely getting nostalgia from when Benjamin found out about Mattheo and Wattpad (if you know, you know).

I also love Rick the most. That man is such a Gibs, and I originally only started watching him because of Gibsie, but now I just genuinely love Rick in general. There’s just something so special about watching the fancast finding out about the fandom.

It will forever be one of my favorite parts of any fandom.

Soo yeah that's really all I mean I can obviously yap about Boys of Tommen forever but that's pretty much all I'm going to say for today. Again I am so sorry for not posting recently but I will start posting again so yeah. I hope you enjoyed todays blog and I hope everyones having an amazing December.
