Holiday Highlights

hey and welcome back to 'diaryofanoverthinker' today I will be writing about my December. However I'll only be writing about all my favourite parts because you cannot possibly write about every single day of December. So sit back ,relax and enjoy!

Movie Day at Home

So this was at the very beginning of my holiday and my parents were still working so I decided to have a movie day. Since I've never watched Mean Girls and I tend to enjoy movies/t.v shows from the early 2000s I decided to watch that. I had some popcorn stayed in bed as I watched my movie. Since it was the first week of holiday this was perfect because I was just lounging around enjoying my holiday.

Hanging out with friends

1. After the movie day at home I was invited to hang out with my friends and it was really chill and fun. We just hung our at my one friends house and enjoyed each others company. It was really nice to see them out of school and be able to just hang out without worrying about school.It was an amazing way to kick off the holidays
2. I also hung out with 2 of my other friends this past week and that too was so fun. This was also chill and we just hung out in my room all day talking, laughing and just having fun.Honestly it was the perfect way to spend one of my last days of holiday, especially since I'd been texting them all holiday but hadn't seen them since school.

Family

Of course there was a lot of family time whether it was with my parents or just my aunt and cousin. I spend a lot of time with my parents once they took leave and of course we had to spend time with my mums sister and her daughter because it wouldn't be the holidays without them. I had a lot of fun with all of them at it was so much of fun. We also met some other family members and had tons of fun there too. All in all family time whether it was close family or extended family was really fun.

Doha

After a few weeks at home we took a trip to Doha and spend time at the amazing resort Banana Island. We spend most days on the resort chilling on the beach, reading , swimming and just relaxing along with taking occasional trips to the city.The trip was really fun and relaxing, especially since we've been to Doha before we got to enjoy the city and go to some of our favourite places along with relax on a beach because we didn't have a lot of touring to do.

After a lot of relaxing, sun burn, reading and touring I felt relaxed and ready to come home.I really enjoyed the trip and it was definitely one of the best parts of my holiday.

Reading

As you all know I love books and reading and the fun part about holidays is you get a lot of time to actually read and that is exactly what I did. I got to read a whole lot and I'm so glad I got to because when you're at school you do read but you also don't have a lot of time for it. So that was definitely a highlight.

Pictures

Since I always take a camera with me on holiday I had plenty of time to capture amazing pictures and work on my photography skills. I really love taking pictures especially with cameras and holidays are the perfect time to do that. I took amazing pictures in Doha that I've come to really love.

So those were the highlights of my holiday. Honestly the whole holiday was amazing and I really enjoyed it, I'm really sad it has to end but it wouldn't be special of it was forever.
