Nerd Out Trend Pt 3

Hey and welcome to 'diaryofanoverthinker' today I will be continuing the whole nerd out trend and hopefully it will be the last one. SO sit back, realx and enjoy me yap about my somewhat nerdy interests yet again.
Comfort/Favourite Characters
Pippa Fitz Amobi
Okay, I think we can all agree that Pip is an amazing character. Honestly, I think I love her even more because A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder was the first BookTok recommendation I ever read—and it’s what sparked my whole obsession with reading. I used to read before, but nothing like how much I do now.
People have told me I’m a lot like Pip because I’m obsessed with true crime too. I lowkey wish I could solve crimes the police couldn’t, just like she does. Pip is one of those characters I deeply related to as the series went on, and I honestly love her so much.

Barney Stinson
Okay, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Barney is a huge nerd—but honestly, that’s one of the reasons I love his character so much.
Let’s be real: the whole friend group in How I Met Your Mother were kind of nerds in their own way, but Barney was my absolute favorite. I mean—an adult who plays laser tag, is obsessed with magic, has an unhealthy love for Star Wars, writes a blog (but like, same man)... and that’s just scratching the surface.
The fact that he’s such a nerd just makes him even more lovable. And honestly, who cares? He’s kind of amazing… or should I say, legen—wait for it—dary. Legendary.

Natasha Kingsley and Daniel Bae
The reason I grouped them together is because, honestly, if the two of them were merged into one person—that person would be me.
I absolutely loved Natasha’s character. Her passion for science? That was so me. I couldn’t help but relate to her every now and then, especially when she’d geek out about things most people overlook.
And then there’s Dan—with his love for poetry and the way he sees the world so poetically. That’s also so me. It’s like both of them represent different sides of who I am, and together, they just felt really personal to me.

General things
Taking part in like EVERYTHING
Okay, so I don’t know if this really counts as nerdy or not, but if anything is happening at school, you can bet I’ll be participating. Like, it could be literally anything and I’ll be there—because honestly, why not? I just love being involved in everything.
Liking things the way they are/routine
Anyone who knows me knows that I hate change. I like sticking to my routines, and when things don’t go the way I’ve planned, I can sometimes freak out a little. I don’t know if that’s exactly “nerdy,” but it’s definitely a big part of who I am—so I’m mentioning it anyway. It’s something that makes me me.
Love for writing
I loveee writing—if that wasn’t already obvious from the fact that I have this blog. And the thing is… I’m actually not that bad at it. It’s one of those things that might not be considered super “nerdy,” but it’s definitely not something everyone’s good at. Plus, let’s be real—all my favorite nerdy characters were great at writing too, so… it totally counts.
Well that is finally the end of this series of blogs.I hope you enjoyed it and maybe slightly related to some parts of it.Thank you so much for reading
Until next time
