Ramadan Goals-Update

ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ
Welcome back to 'diaryofanoverthinker' today I will be giving you guys an update on all the Ramadan goals I made in the start of the month. So list back, relax and enjoy!
Qur'an
My Khatam has been going well—I've been managing to complete one para a day, even with school, and I’m really proud of that. As for understanding the Qur’an, I’ve been doing Tafseer with my mum after Taraweeh most nights, and it’s been incredibly helpful. We’re focusing on the shorter surahs at the end of the Qur’an, which I recite daily in my Salah, making the experience even more meaningful.
Salaah
This has been both easy and difficult. I’ve definitely become more punctual with my Salah, but maintaining focus and not rushing has been a bit of a struggle. I try my best, but sometimes it’s hard not to get distracted or let my mind drift. That said, I do want to improve, and I can see some progress—so that’s a start.
Recently, I’ve also been praying some Nafl Salah, and it’s been such a beautiful experience. I felt so calm and at peace afterward. Plus, I haven’t felt lazy about reading Taraweeh this year, and I’m taking that as a win.
Eating Healthy
This goal has actually been going surprisingly well. Of course, I’ve had a few sweet treats, but overall, I’ve been eating much better than usual. I’ve also been craving snacks less, which I think is a good thing. Fasting has definitely played a role in that, since my appetite has shrunk—but either way, it’s still progress, and I’m proud of it!
Strengthening my Imaan
Honestly this is something that I can never fully comment on because no matter what they'll always be more you can do. However I do feel closer to me deen so I take that as I win too.
Well that's all for todays blog, I hope you enjoyed it and I hope your Ramadan is going well to.
until next time
