TBR for 2025
Hey and welcome back to 'diaryofanoverthinker',today I will be discussing books that I want to read next year because lets be honest us book girls always have a TBR.So sit back, relax and enjoyyy!
Final Offer
This book is definitely on my TBR because I've already read the first two books in the Dreamland Billionaires series. I’ve been most excited to read this one out of all three, as I can already tell that Cal’s story is going to be the best. For some reason, though, I keep putting it off. But I will definitely get to it next year.
Fearless
This is a given the second I can get my hands on a copy of the last book in the Powerless trilogy I am reading it because it is a need at this point. Like the cliff-hanger from Reckless was so bad but so good at the same time and now I'm loosing my mind waiting for Fearless. Besides those prerelease quotes are way to good and now I actually need that book.
The Secret History
So I've seen a lot about this book and honestly it kind of seems like my vibe with the murders and all. I mean I do really like murder mystery/thriller books and I haven't read many recently so I really think I'd enjoy it. Especially since it's not from the POV of the detective, well from what I've heard.
If We Were Villains.
I've heard a lot of good things about this book and based on what I heard it reminded me of ' The Dead Poets Society' due to the study of Shakespeare by the characters.I've also heard that people who like 'The Secret History' would love this therefore I'm going to see if I want to read to based on my thoughts of 'The Secret History' . Also based on the collages I saw trying to see the aesthetic of it, it reminded me of Edgar Allen Poe who is my favourite author/poet
Everything Everything
Honestly, the only reason I want to read this is because people recommend it if you enjoyed All the Bright Places, and I’m desperately looking for something that resembles that plot and trope. All the Bright Places was a book I absolutely adored and will never move on from, so if I can find something even remotely similar, I’m all in. That’s pretty much the only reason I’m interested in reading it.
The Sun Is Also a Star.
I actually have this book because it was written by the same author as Everything, Everything, and it was the one they had in the store, so I ended up buying it. Another reason I want to read this one is because I think it’s the Nicola Yoon book I’d enjoy more, so I can get a feel for her writing style before diving into Everything, Everything.
The Silent Patient
Ok so as I've already said I love murder mysterious/ thrillers and I haven't read many this year and I need to start reading more again from next year. Therefore the Silent Patient is on my TBR because I've heard it's kind of like 'The Woman In The Window' and I really loved that even though I watched the movie but still. So I definitely want to read this book soon.
Healing 7
Ok when healing 7 is out I need to read it. As I mentioned last week I have become completely obsessed with the BOT series.I also cannot wait because even though I've only started Taming 7, Gibs is my favourite character and I am both scared and excited to find out about him and his life because based on the first few books you can already see it's going to be one hectic story.
Betting on you
Ok so I've read BTTM and NLTM and obviously I love Lynn Painter for them but then I found out that Charlie from Betting on you is Wes's cousins and then I found out that Bailey is a book girly and well if you tell me about a book girly I'm going to want to read it immediately so yeah.
