Vision Board for 2025

Vision Board for 2025

Hey and welcome back to 'diaryofanoverthinker' today I'll be doing a vision board for 2025 because 2025 is 3 days away. So sit back, relax and enjoy!

Good Marks/Top 10

Ok so I do have decently good marks and I am good at school but I could do better and I intend to be better. I want to get 83% and higher for my average every term and get into top 10 every single term.

Also I really need to get my math marks up and improve my math in general so basically a part of my vision board is just to become an academic weapon or something.

Travel

As I mentioned in my last blog, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit this year, and I am incredibly grateful for each experience. Looking ahead to 2025, I've created a vision board of places I hope to visit. While I may not get to all of them, writing them down is something I'm going to do regardless . Here are the top destinations on my list:

Umrah – As a Muslim, going on Umrah has always been a deep desire of mine. This longing has only grown stronger after seeing many of my friends and teachers experience it this year. So, without a doubt, Makkah and Madinah are number one on my vision board. The spiritual significance of these cities makes them an absolute dream destination.

Egypt – Ever since I was 11 or 12, I’ve been fascinated by Egypt’s rich history. I’ve watched countless documentaries and dreamt of exploring the ancient pyramids, temples, and tombs firsthand. Visiting Egypt would be a dream come true, and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do.

London – As a huge Harry Potter fan, this one is a no-brainer. My love for the wizarding world runs deep, and I can’t wait to visit the iconic Harry Potter sites around London. Whether it's Platform 9¾ at King’s Cross, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour(only for the Harry Potter sections), or exploring other magical locations, this trip is a must for me. Any fellow Potterhead reading this will totally understand why it’s such a big deal!

Palestine – For many Muslims, visiting Palestine is a lifelong dream. Despite the challenges and hardships the country faces, the spiritual and historical significance of Palestine makes it a place I deeply want to experience. It’s a destination that holds meaning for so many people, and it’s a place I hope to visit someday.

I know it’s not realistic to expect to visit all of these places in 2025, but even if I get to just one of them, it will be an amazing experience. That’s why I’ve written them all down here—so I can look back next year and reflect on how many of my dream destinations I’ve crossed off.

Blog

I honestly want this blog to become a huge success by next year and I really hope it does. By next year I hope to have about 30+ members and I hope to improve my writing on this platform. I started this blog out as a place where people could get help and relate to experiences of a teenage girl and it's turned into so much more so I really hope it expands by next year.

Friends

As I have mentioned on countless occasions high school really makes drastic changes to your social life and I really just want to end that this year. I know it's not completely in my control but I'm going to try as hard as I can to maintain my current friends and have an amazing year with them filled with memories and fun experiences.

guys if you're seeing this, this just felt as chaotic as us

Take Part

I've done a really good job at taking part this year and I want to continue it into next year. Taking part in competitions, Olympiads, sports, social events everything. As I've mentioned before I want to make the most out of high school and the only way to do that is to take part in everything and anything and I plan to do just that.

Books

Obviously books are always part of my year no matter what but obviously I have goals even when it come to my amazing hobby. I plan to read about 30-35 books next year since I have managed about 30 this year. I also intend to attempt writing my own book since it's been a life long dream and all these teen authors on TikTok are truly inspiring. Not to mention I have my friends always saying I'm talented when it comes to words and that I should write a book someday.

Interest in Criminology and Biochem

As you might have guessed, I'm a bit of a science nerd with a serious passion for true crime, so naturally I'm considering careers in these fields. Thanks to the Yenza Careers website provided by my school, I've been going back and forth between Criminology and Biochemistry. Or maybe something in the middle, like Forensics, which has been something I'm considering due to CSI and my cousin suggesting it.

Right now, I’m still figuring it all out. I plan to spend more time exploring Yenza and researching my options next year to make sure I’m making the best decision when it comes to choosing my subjects. It's all about finding that perfect fit, and I want to make sure I choose something that aligns with my passions and skills.

Job shadowing

This is another thing offered by my school offers for grade 9 and I think I'm going to do it because it just seems like something worth doing. I honestly think it would be an amazing experience and I could learn a lot from it. Not to mention maybe consider getting a small job at a pop up shop every now and then and maybe even save some money just for the fun of it.

Honestly theres probably more but for now I think these are all I want to accomplish in 2025 and I hope I do. I'll make and update in the middle of the year and one at the end of the year to keep you posted. I hope you enjoyed todays blog, as always feel free to contact me at adiaryofanoverthinker@gmail.com

until next time
